Why We Started BAM – And What We Stand For

At BAM, we believe period products should be held to the same standards as everything else you put on or in your body. No hidden ingredients. No plastic wrapping things up. No perfumes pretending to be “fresh.” Just clean, high-performance period care that does what it’s supposed to – and feels good while doing it.

That’s why we started BAM.

From frustration to action

Like many, we were frustrated by what the shelves had to offer: products filled with plastic, synthetic fibers, fragrance, and vague claims. We couldn’t find anything that was both clean and functional – and didn’t look like a medical supply.

So we created it.

BAM was founded by two women – Penny Parnevik and Filippa Lagerstedt – both mothers, both tired of compromise. We wanted period care that felt better, looked better, and did better. For our bodies, and for the planet.
